How RideShareBD works
Six simple steps to start carpooling safely in Bangladesh. Every step is designed to keep your identity and phone number private until you've picked a ride partner.
1.Sign in with your phone
Create a free account using your Bangladesh mobile number and a one-time OTP. No passwords, no email required.
2.Post a ride or browse listings
Pick from 64 districts and hundreds of neighbourhoods. Offering drivers set the route, seats, and cost mode; riders browse by city, area, time, and vehicle.
3.Send a request
Tap Request Seat on any active listing. Your identity stays masked ('First L.') until the owner accepts — no accidental contact exposure.
4.Wait for acceptance
The listing owner reviews incoming requests on their dashboard and accepts the riders they want. You'll see the status update in real time.
5.Coordinate directly
Once accepted, phone numbers become visible on both sides. Call or text to confirm the pickup point and departure time in Dhaka local time.
6.Review after the ride
Rate your ride partner 1–5 stars and leave a short note. Ratings build public trust for every user on the platform.
